Below is a summary of the key revisions:<\/p>\n<p><strong>TCS Application Form (TCR01): <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All the fields under the \u201cForeign Assets and Liabilities Details\u201d container have been made optional based on the date the TCS applicant ceased to be a South African tax resident.<\/li>\n<li>The \u201cNet Worth\u201d field under the \u201cAssets and Liabilities Details\u201d container has been amended to \u201cNet Amount (At cost)\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>The \u201cTrust No.\u201d and \u201cPassport No. of Main Trustee\/Representative Taxpayer of the Trust\u201d under the \u201cLocal and Foreign Trust Details\u201d container, and the \u201cLocal and Foreign Loan to a Trust Details\u201d container have been made optional when \u201cForeign Trust\u201d is selected.<\/li>\n<li>The \u201cTrust No.\u201d under the \u201cDistribution from Trust Additional Details\u201d container has been made optional when the \u201cForeign Trust\u201d is selected.<\/li>\n<li>The \u201cShare code\u201d field and \u201cNumber of shares sold\u201d field under the \u201cSale of Shares and Other Securities Details\u201d container have been disabled when the \u201cListed Shares\u201d is selected.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>TCS Verification Letter (TCR006):<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The TCR006 letter has been amended to display the residency status under which the application was approved.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TCS Dashboard:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An \u201cAmount\u201d column has been added to the TCS dashboard to enable the AIT Reviewers and Approvers to view the total value of the international transfer per the TCR01 application (where the application has not yet been approved) or the approved amount per the AIT case.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>See the updated <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sars.gov.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/Docs\/TCS\/GEN-ELEC-08-G01-Guide-to-the-Tax-Compliance-Status-functionality-on-eFiling-External-Guide-1.pdf\">Guide to the Tax Compliance Status functionality on eFiling<\/a> here.<\/p>\n<p>Source: SARS Tariffs<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sars.gov.za\/latest-news\/enhancements-tax-compliance-status\/?utm_source=rss&#038;utm_medium=rss&#038;utm_campaign=enhancements-tax-compliance-status\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Enhancements: Tax Compliance Status<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>30 October 2023 &#8211; The Tax Compliance Status (TCS) process relating to the approval of international transfer (AIT) applications have been adjusted to address feedback from stakeholders.
