6 February 2024 –\u00a0<\/strong>SARS will introduce enhancements to the Tax Directives process as indicated in the IBIR-006 Tax Directives Interface Specification Version 6.601.\u00a0 Trade testing is planned to start on 12 February 2024 to prepare for the implementation of the software by end February 2024. In the event that dates are changed, SARS will communicate accordingly.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Tax Directives Interface Specification is available here<\/a>\u00a0and you are encouraged to review it prior to testing.<\/p>\n

Please follow these steps to submit test files:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Step 1:\u00a0<\/strong>Before testing can commence, you will need to email 10 taxpayer reference numbers to\u00a0ncts@sars.gov.za<\/a>\u00a0 to ensure the numbers are active.\u00a0 In the email subject line, use\u00a0\u201cTax reference numbers for Trade Testing\u201d.<\/strong>\u00a0A maximum of 10 taxpayer reference numbers will be allowed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Step 2:\u00a0<\/strong>You will be notified via the same email address to confirm when testing may commence.<\/p>\n
